Here at Free to Express Hair Studio, Sisterlocks TM and Microlocks are established from start to finish, which also include grooming, retightening, repairing, and maintenance of the established locs.   Transfer clients are also accepted.  

Sisterlocks

Microlocks

  • Microlocks are locs that can be started a variety of ways such as braids, twist, or interlocks.  The Microlocks offered at the Free to Express Hair Studio are larger than Sisterlocks, are interlocked and does not use the Sisterlock TM grid pattern.  Currently, twistlocs and braidlocs are not offered.

Service & Prices

Below are the prices for Sisterlocks, Microlocks and Retightenings and are subject to change.  All services require a separate consultation appointment, $50 consultation fee for Sisterlocks TM and Microlocks, $25 for transfer clients. 

Sisterlock Establishment

$1,200.00

$1200 for first 5 inches, $50 per additional inch. Additional charges may be considered depending on head size, density, and loc sized. Text (361) 492-7930 for a consultation.

Microlocks

$800.00

$800 for first 5 inches, $50 per additional inch. Additional charges will be considered depending on head size, density, and loc size. Text (361) 492-7930 for a consultation.

Retightenings 6-7 Weeks

$180.00

$180 up to 3 hours, 6-7 weeks, $20 per additional half hour for Sisterlocks and Microlocks. Text (361) 492-7930 for a consultation.
